boat is used for ripping the lake and occasional tubeing,but have plenty of 22-25 pitch props for cruising and tubeing, prop was checked at well known prop shop here and said it was un-molested 30 pitch mercury cleaver. really would like to know how to get slip down and really make its full potential with it, i have a triton tr-21 bass boat with 225 efi merc which is a 1998 and runs 80 mph all day, its turning a 4 blade 25 pitch prop which was on it when i bought boat and has a manual jackplate. so tell me whats the deal to get all of it to run, I WILL SEND SOMEONE PICS IF THEY NEED TO LOOK AT BOAT.

I think your prop or your set up is not right. Borrow a chopper from some one. They are a better all around prop IMO.
anyone in you know that can let me borrow one to try
