Thread: help with my jet drive

    i have a berkley jet drive 12je with berkley electirc trim-a-just jetavator. the question is i bought a new trim cable but i can not find how to connect it. i connect to the nozzle but when i trim up the cable just bows out and does not move the nozzle. please help guys.. thanks Josh

    sounds like you need the cable clamp or it's not hooked up correctly. Do a search for a Berkeley JE, I'm pretty sure there's some good pictures of the set-up.

    The outer end of the cable jacket should clamp to the bottom side of the bowl.

    where on the cable do you mount it or does it matter on the cable. i saw the clamp but dont have a clue where on the cable to place it

    as Smokin said, it mounts to the bottom of the pump
    ok, here ya go. This looks like it's a JF but I believe the setup for the jetovator is similar
