I just back flushed my inter cooler and I can't believe how much sand and small gravel came out ! and I run a strainer, I don't think its fine enough.
I guess it depends where you run. do most of you do this on a regular basis?
I usually use the garden hose and backflush from the dump when I wash the boat. I don't hold it tight or anything, just let the water run through it.
