I don't want to do anything radical, just increase the HP by 50 or so. Any good websites. I know the 175,200,235s all have the same displacement. I guess the carbs, porting, lower unit gear ratios make the difference in horse power? And probably exhaust as well? Any help appreciated!

Find a 235 powerhead in good shape and do a swap.

    150 - 200 were 3.5" bore, 149 cu.in.
    '80 and up 235 were 3.625" bore, 160 cu.in.
Ports are different as are carbs. The exhaust, adaptor plate, and tuner are different from small bore to large.
    All consumer ratios are 1.86:1.
