    180* all day long any temp water........

    120-130 in 80-90 degree water.
    I would guess that 160-180 would be best for power, but we (w/out tstats) would all rather be too cold than too hot.
    If you want temp control, get the thermostat.

    Don't want any thermal shock Mine runs 160* . Before I plumbed it correctly it would only get to a 100* Way to cold

    120* at cruzing speed & 140* idleing always.

    this early in the season the temp is throttle postion dependent. Usually, 180-190 'f while on it ! 160'f at idle but I have the t stat with prv.
