    Need Powerglide Marine transmission rebuilder
Can someone recommend the right guy or shop in northern California that knows how to properly rebuild a powerglide marine tranny. The last local shop I used cost me over $700 so far and the tranny has been in and out of the boat 5 times and still does not work right. They were more of an automotive transmission shop but swore they also knew how to rebuild marine powerglides.
It was flawless for years prior but last year, got wet enough in the boat one time wherein I thought best to have the clutches checked out... Good move to check it out but bad choice of service shop provider...
Live in Vacaville, 30 miles west of Sacramento....Thanks in advance.

I gave Dave Sammons name to this guy on Az Dons board. Dave if you see this I think that you could help him out...
