Drilling thru Powder coating

I just bought a set of powder coated valve covers and I need to drill holes to mount the breather. What is the best way to do it so that I do not mess up the powder coat?

Hi, use some blue 3M masking tape and tape of the desired drill area. Be sure to put enough tape to avoid the spinning metal from marking up the valve cover.
