Man, they should have included your boat in the 600hp shootout (pg.94 July2007 Powerboat). You would have showed those guys how to do it. They are making a big deal how all those topped 80mph???
Just thought I would let you know one more time... congrats on the great article.

Thanks. They didn't let us do the shootout because we had a 550... but we beat every 625 in every category performance-wise, and with a fully loaded deckboat!
I can't wait for some like-powered quantitative testing. Until then, we are going to be counting on people like you to be "Blues-Clues" and match them up yourself!
Thanks for noticing though. We were proud of the numbers, but those were in some really, really crappy conditions too. They would have pulled another 2 mph out of her easily had the conditions been better, or had we been propped for speed. As it is, I think we have a great all-around performer that cruises nicely at 75 with a full boat load, runs early nineties in good conditions and does it on very modest stock power.

    Wes,
Are you gonna offer the decker with the seperate, side-by-side, driver and passenger seat?

Unsure of the question... Do you mean with a separate "helm" for the passenger? They all have a separate but attached passenger seat for the co-pilot. That was one of the things my wife wanted when we designed the boat. She likes being closer instead of across the boat, so we put them in tandem. Plus, it is a MUCH more functional layout as a deckboat having the open seating across the port side... Here is a closeup of the seat...

Plus, it doubles as a Grey Goose bottle rack...

Great idea for the wife/girlfriend sitting close, but my Homophobic condition would have a hard time with some dude sitting there I guess the secret is in the ratio you allow on the boat

Just work harder on your ratio...
The reality is, with actual seating for 14 folks, you can sit wherever you want to, this just gives you an opportunity to sit side by side if you want to...
Since I staggered the configuration, you don't have to rub shoulders... you have a little bit of separation between the two. It is very comfortable.

Bitchen' seat base might I add...that thing is beefy as hell.
