Sometimes a pardon is the only chance justice has.
As for "Scooter" Libby, this was all a bunch of CNN stuff anyway designed to distract you from the real crimes and misdemeanors committed daily.
    You got that right.

Libby was convicted of a crime, sentenced and his appeal was refused. Stating that he shouldn't go to jail, is in some way a good thing, displays ignorance beyond belief.
Talk about two sets of rules Martha Stewart was convicted of basically the same thing and did time. F'n Paris Twilton went to jail.
For those who profess to be so f'n smart, (and you know who I'm referring to) blind dedication to the GOP makes you appear dumber than owl sh*t.
Being away from all of this lunacy for a few weeks gave me a different outlook on what I now see as a complete waste of time.
ES, MP Tex, Rex and a few others are folks who at least think with their brains instead of their computers. Very refreshing to say the least.

Two sets of rules? Indeed! Then I suppose you feel the same about Clinton who SOLD hundreds of pardons to who ever had the bucks to "donate" to his pet causes such as the Clinton Library and the DNC? All the people listed above were tried, convicted, sentenced and pardoned but Libby was not pardoned, just had his conviction commuted but you lefty Clinton nut swingers get your panties all in a wad over Scooter and his lack of jail time. Does Sandy Berger mean anything you or is that different because he had a "D" after his name.

Hmmmmmm, it seems that some on the left don't like some of President Bush's pardons and some on the right don't like President Clinton's pardons. Does this mean you have a bi-partisan base for a movement to eliminate or restrict the President's power to issue pardons or commute sentences.

    ES,
No. However, I would be interested in being a part of such a movement. It seems that anyone who is a friend of the Prez, can get away with a crime of just about anything. Cocaine possession, auto theft, tax evasion, moonshining, unlawful disposal of hazardous waste, AWOL, just to name a few. Give me a f'n break.

Probabally much more than he should have. My guess is that his pardons for cocaine convictions were done on the barter system
Executive pardons are bullsh*t given by any party. Duh!!
