So, as some of you may remember I was involved in an accident a few weeks ago where I rear ended my buddy's boat. Well, this was his first weekend back on the water with it. It did great all day on Saturday and Sunday morning, til about 12 when we found out his bilge pump had failed while we were eating lunch...

Cracked his transom when he hit the bottom... Luckily he was only in 3 feet of water. We did save it and it's on the trailer now.

Both. He fixed it as a temporary repair to get him through this season til he could rebuild the entire transom this winter...

Water coming out your dipstick is never a good thing. Has he pickled the motor yet?

I wasn't trying to talk shit Zaairman, I was just saying the boat sank in 3' of water and you said it cracked the transom from hitting the bottom. didn't quite add up.

Ah... Well I didn't think you were trying to talk shit... I'll tell you right now he didn't repair the transom correctly and he knew it also. He just wanted it to hold up a few times for the rest of the summer... It was holding up fine through all of the abuse until it hit the bottom...
