Sorry to correct you here, but I was with Bling that weekend. He lost a tranny on Friday and could not get another one brought up from LA in time. He throttled Gunslinger in the run with Terry from Nor-Tech. They got a late start behind the lead pack.
The other Nor-Tech that didn't make it was the nashville cats. I believe it was drive or tranny related also.

I think crossing the tugs wake is what caused the carnage to all the tranny's and drives.
