He probably really wants you to get a personal attire (no not tire) coordinator cause his sponsors can't afford any more holiday scenes on the boats. The eye exam could just be a stall till he finds someone willing to deal with your eccentricities in clothing taste.
Or maybe he feels your eyes are so poor you'll never pass the exam which is why you had no idea you had no pants on at Christmas time running around half naked through the neighborhood causing a specticle.

It was pretty much what you would expect.
Stupid fast. Can't describe how hard that boat pulled. It just pulled F'n hard.

That's awesome that you got to drive someone else's race boat.
I shoe'ed John Haas's "lake" boat a couple years ago and it scared the S**T out of me. A Deaver hydro with a blown alky KB motor. I never drove anything with that much acceleration in my life. I was shaking for a while after that.....and smiling too.
Looking back I can see that he was intent on switching me to V drives and getting me out of the jet boat. I guess it worked.
