Here is a fuel rail that I made this morning with som free time. It's out of copper with two rubber coated SS clamps bolted to the valve cover. It is going to feed to 660's or??? The two ends sticking up have 1/4 female pipe fittings to go to a -06 AN adapter to the carbs. The guage doesn't hit the cover but it is very close.

Copper work hardens and cracks, I wouldn't want a fire on my boat.

I think I would hang it off the carb studs/bolts away from the heat of the valve cover............MP

I think it looks good. Very nice craftmanship. The only thing that would bug me is the coloring. Can you powder coat copper?

So the fuel is too cold?......The valve cover will still be quite warm even in an "open" enviroment. The clamp will transfer heat to the copper, heating the incoming fuel. The upper reaches of the intake don't see the hot oil that the underside of the v/c does.......Just my .02........MP

Yeah I think I could either powerder coat it or chrome it, or just rattle can it.
