I have a 84 merc 200 and want to take the pulse operated diaphram pump off, and use an in boat mounted fuel pump, according to the manual the motor needs 4-6 psi, I found an automotive self priming pump that puts out 5-7, and also specifies NOT FOR MARINE use, any help will be great.

hey 20lib. when i bought my liberator it had an elect pump, but it was not hooked up. the lines were still there, just disconect your macanical pump and run new line to the carbs.try a blue holly pump.just put a regulator on, set to 6 lb. you may need to reset your enhanser though
