Hello People,
Just wanted to give you a heads up on the NJBA By-Laws and rules change process.
The rules will be evaluated every year and some discussions popular or not will be made for our club’s benefit and members The process will start at the next NJBA board meeting, September 11, 2007, more info to come in the NJBA newsletter.
All suggested rules that need to be change must be identified and the amended version or deletion submitted in writing to NJBA Secretary,

At the general meeting, any NJBA member can attend state their position on the rule(s) that should be examined for change and the reasons.
It is suggested that you bring as many members who feel the same way about the changes you want to introduce with you.
Why, because the by laws says that the majority members present can vote on the issues to force change.
All suggested rules that need to be change must be identified and the amended version or deletion submitted in writing to NJBA Secretary.
An easier way to say this is if you want a rule to be created or want a rule to be changed ... you must be an NJBA member and submit your suggestion or change request in writing or in person.
Make sure that you are clear in what you are requesting to be instated or changed & quote the rule book (section/page/etc.)
We have had some criptic requests in the past ... they were very, very hard to understand. :messedup:
