Thread: Engine coupler ?

    Does anyone offer a High performance engine couple for blower motors...bravo 1 drive...i spun the coupler and have to replace so would like to find something better than the stock coupler or is the stock one fine

    Been there, done this. Strongest one ends part # A-9. Boostpower sells them for $179-$189 on E bay.

    Is the one boost power sells ending in A-9 better or stronger than the merc hp one that is part# 861523A11 that sells for 400.00....Is the one boost power sells a direct replacement for the bravo 1 drive just stronger

    Same one....... Nothing stronger my friend.... At least in my searches...Running over 850 HP with mine. Not a dragster, I never nail it out of the hole...

    Check the offshoreonly classified section (www.offshoreonly.com). Scott always sells his couplers for about $290 in this section.

    Not the same one. The A11 was only factory installed on small blocks. The A9 was installed on some 350 mags and all the way up to the 600 SCI.

    Engine couplers generally fail due to msialignment during installation of the new motor. Be sure it is checked with an alignment tool. I run a 1000+ HP blower thru mine for 5 years without tearing one up. I have an extra one that I bought as a backup and have never needed it, I will sell it for $250 plus shipping. PM if interested.

    What???? I just bought the A-9 from Boostpower 279.00. Not Same one what?
