My thoughts exactly.
I'll go out on a limb and say that if you're old enough to die for your country and old enough to vote, you're old enough to buy beer.
I drank more before I was 21 then I did afterwards.
I think its pretty even pros and cons.
Same here, I drank 10X as much under 21 than after.

I just think there are too many variable levels of maturity at 18. But I also have always believed that a forbidden fruit is more often abused. See, I am on the fence...LOL
.

You could also say that about 50 year olds lol...
When I came home from Viet Nam in the Marines, my mom still had to sign for my Drivers License.
18 was supposed to be an adult.
It's about fuggin time.... many other countries practice 18 as legal drinking age and seem to be better off for it.
My brother was drinking at 15. Bottom line, just like everything else, they will get it if they want it. I agree that at 18 you become and "adult" in our society, so you should get this right too.

I agree if outher countries do it why can't it be done here. I believe that there are more countries that have 18 as the legal drinking age than don't. I also agree if you can fight and die for your country then you ought to be able to have a few legally.
For my 18th birthday, my parents (who were very strict btw) gave me a 6 pack of beer and a cooler for them.
what about the keys to the car too
