I don't think those bars would be good for a newbie. Have her take a riding class first.
My girlfriend wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle so i am going to pick one of these up and let her learn on it. They are pretty inexpensive and it looks like they are easy to handle. The website is www.kikkermoto.com

Yes i will have her take the MSF course, but i figured after that this would be a great training tool. Its only $1500 bucks so if she drops it I won't be too devastated. And also we all know how our girlfriends can be they want to try something out and then lose interest, so if that happens I'm not out of that much money. Oh i think i will get her the drag bars and the apes so she can pick which is better for her
Good Luck

Are you focking kidding me?
"Gee... sorry about the lost toes and that you're going to walk with a limp until you hit a wheelchair earlier than you otherwise would because of injury induced arthritis but at least I'm only out $1500. "
Dont be a hater Brown
