If its only for 6 months or so just get the cheapest stuff, otherwise epoxy paints for flooring applications are the better route.
I am going to paint the floor in my laundry room rather than spend alot of $ laying a floor. The room is being torn out in about 6 months for a large addition but I cant stand it without something on the floor. It had old lino that I ripped out and now it just has the old paper flooring. I was planning on painting that with KILZ and then another color over the top (enamel) and then maybe a clear coat to protect it. I've seen this done before but not sure what type of paint they used or sealant? Any suggestions?

If it concrete, make sure you clean and etch it. Otherwise, whatever you put down will peel in six weeks.
