Blower style no longer being made.
1/2" of flex out of one of those would be a lot I would think. Wrap a rope around 3 of your closed friends and have em give a tug while you watch it. My guess is it won't move much.
I don't know of anyone making the intake style any longer either. Many have come and gone that made ski tows over the years.

How tall it is really isnt what i dont like, it's how far out it sticks.. i would like to be tucked up closer to the motor. Right now it reminds me of a shopping cart the way it sticks out. I understand why they are being made this way, this one pretty much allows the rope to clear hitting the headers for 180*.

I do have it...not sure if I am going to use it or not. I havent even considered the header part of the equation...

High and back is good, you want the rope to clear stuff and not get in the jet, also you want to able to see that it's clear from the driver's seat. forget how it looks, people used to use transom eye bolts at water level, now wake towers stick up 12'. WTF is a few inches?
