    I have a buddy in Colorado that can calibrate and certify everything. The surface plate there's a service that'll come to your shop and do it for you..
    Where are you located?
    How much stuff are you talking here?

    at work they use a pin gage set, they are about a hundred pins in each box that are all different sizes, they checks the mics, calipers, ect. against the pins sizes

    You might try Davis Instruments in Irwindale, CA. We have some of our stuff calibrated there. Our gear has to be NIST traceable. Worth a try.

    everything has to have certification but thanks...I will check out the shop in irwandale...about 10 calipers, 10 mics, 2 comparators, a few surface plates, depth mics

    Try Accurate Instrument Repair in Foothill Ranch CA. 949-454-2752. Ask for Pat. He's a good guy and will come out to your shop. Can't remember if they offer a surface plate cert service tho.
