i think it was worth 150.00
Heck, the "V" Drive trailer is worth that much. Nice boat and nice find! Keep the project alive and post your progress.

CONGRATS RANDALL! glad to see all went good today bro, now GET TO WORK memorial day is only 6months away
we are coming up there next year, don't forget i have a running boat right now.
Hey talormanss, Scrap the reply on the other post that is the same hull I had back In the late 80's. The seats (high-backs) bring back memories. First thing if it still has the bow tank-loose it and go to saddles. Second thing thosehulls hade a major hook in the bottom for a smooth ride but pushed water half way up the boat. Staighten out the boatom and she will free right up. Good Luck. Mark
Hey Taylormanss,Nice score. That hull is the same as My Kona. The Kona is pretty much a direct splash of Your tahiti.Does Yours have short stringers or full length. The stringers and floor seem to be the only diffrances. The Konas have full length stringers and a false floof in the center with nothing outside the stringers and the Tahitis had a full floor with short engine mount stringers.
I am in the process of restoring/rebuilding My Kona(check out "73 kona resto build" thread).
There are several like it on here,Dozzer has a Fine looking Kona with a relly cool flamed paint job

no I didn't know that hal thanks, this boat has the short stringers.do the longer stringers do anything for your kona? or are they there to mount the seats?, i think i read in your post that you were doing a setback pump, have you finished the install? do you think it will make a big difference?
