Thread: What kind of boat is this?

I have some splash molds I've been working with for a few years, don't know what they are. I'd like to see if any of you could identify this boat. It shares alot of lines with the Biesemeyer 21, but its only 16 feet. I figured you guys in V drive could help me out. Bergeron Marine suggested it was a Sahara, built in Phoenix, however I had no luck in following that trail. Anyone have any suggestions? By the way, its for sale...

I think Shaka may be what you were referring to. By the pics the deck is definitely Biesemeyer. They had a 16' version of the Biesemeyer Flat. I don't remember ever seeing it go into production. Would have been a wild ride with a small block.

I will post some pics soon, although it's "SLIGHTLY MODIFIED"from what it was when we got it and will be sporting a SBC of course... Still working on the bottom of the plug at the time...The deck molds are near completion, one being a T-deck runnerbottom & the other is a roundy-rounder..We are setting up a Jet/Lake bottom also..

Thanks for the suggestions. This one's not a flat, got a moderate V. Here's another pic.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2287/...87cf2590c6.jpg
And Community, I think you might be right about Daytona, I also have molds for a smaller boat with the same design.
