Any peeps with a decent 25-27 single looking to go up? Am I nuts? I ran a nice 99.0 mph 25 Daytona for 3 yrs, went to a Pantera 28, then back to the cat with the 2002 Daytona 30 I have now with 496HO's.
The 30 was my way back into the cat world giving my wife the big enough cabin she wanted and getting black motors to keep me from tinkering so much. It's really more boat than I need for my waters and a 25-27 single would be great- I don't care if I have a cabin and my wife is now my ex wife so that's not an issue either.... but I'd rather downsize the toy budget....
    Will I regret going backwards?

Have you seen the Carrera that John and Michele Bravata have for sale? Super clean, nice engine, and super duper price.
I'll find it and link it for you.

If it is the 30 you had in the spam section then I would just keep it, that is ONE beautiful boat...

yea, that's it, by spring I'll have my finances nailed down better and hopefully, my toterhome sold, I could keep it, but I could also be fine on my lake with half the debt

I have had these thoughts as well about going backwards,I went from my 30 Daytona to my 28 Daytona with 496s. No regrets the 28 fits my needs better, but to get my blood flowing I started going smaller to 22 Daytonas and keeped the 28 for the family that was the right move I love them both .Smaller boats make you drive and thats what it is all about for me I covered 730 miles last wend alone
