It was a beautiful day and the racing was awesome! Number 73 was the UNofficial winner, but later was DQed for starting in the wrong division...
CONGRATS to JOE in the 555 boat. Who would have thought an old beat up 21 Liberator with a 2.0L Merc would win it all? It's all in the strategy!

So the Nordic showroom boat didn't win.......Cool, ..........I think the Parker 300 needs to be re named........Race ended 4 hours and 5 minutes,(Div 1 start time) 245 minutes, minus two ten minute pit stops, 225 minutes to go 300 miles, do the math...........MP

If I did my math right that averages to 80MPH. So a Div I boat would need to average 80mph to win the whole race... What division was the #555?
What NAME should the race be?

If I did my math right that averages to 80MPH. About the same as last year. When you count the time, are you starting with Div I and ending with the winner?
What NAME should the race be?
    "The Havasu Hot Laps 300!"

In order to average 80 those boats would have to be well over a hundred for the entire straights.......I didn't see a single 100 MPH boat on the water, at least not in the south end of the course. IMO it was a short course......Not 5 mile laps.........MP
