Isn't the Merc 700 only sold with the NXT Drive? Why would you guys not put the NXT on that boat with that motor package? Does not make any sense.
Mike
Spam or not that is a great looking boat! Looking forward to hearing how it runs with that package.
Craig
We had a package that we purchased. We needed the drive for a single engine 30 Eagle project we did w/our new 1400 EFI. We built this boat for the 700 we had sitting here. The NXT is to big to get the proper X dimension on a 25 and is very heavy. The IMCO SC was our best option. The boat is at the lake now. We should have numbers later today.

So you are saying a NXT is to heavy and low to put on a Daytona?
Andy
For a 25 at least. The gimbal is huge. As it is the engine barley fit. The charger is set back more on the manifold than what we use.

Nice!! David, how much does this boat weigh (dry), rigged with interior, motor and drive? RR
Not sure. They claim the kevlar layup is 1500 lbs lighter than glass. Mark just got back from the lake. The boat ran a strong 108 mph at 5400 rpms w/ 32" prop. Going back tomorrow with a 34" He is confident it will run 112!
Thats a very beautiful 25, impressive numbers as well ! How much are you guys planning on selling it for out of curiosity ?
