I had nearly the same combo several years ago. Dyers blower and Merlin cast iron oval port heads.
Your limitation will be more how much boost that blower can put out.
I ran 28% OD and never could get more than 7# or 8#.
I thrashed that motor for years in a couple different jet boats I had.
It was really durable. Motor was nothing special. Ran it up to 6500 rpm.
That's where I really got a long lasting respect for the BBCs durability.

be carefull runnin octane boosters pro, they'll sure eat a regulator up at the worst time!

Whats it gonna eat up the orings in the regulator?
if your going to add something add a % of race gas I used to add 30% with ten pounds even though I was told I could get away with 91 just heard the octane bosters were a bad deal not totaly sure why
Octane boosters are a load of shiat. You might as well pour paint thinner in your tank. Same stuff, only cheaper and without the catchy bottle.
I mix race gas as stated above. I've been using 30% race/70% pump for four seasons and haven't had a problem yet. Plus it smells good when it burns !
You're spending considerable $$$ and lots of time building your engine, it's be a real bummer to see you cheap out on the fuel and burn it down!

yep! do what all us budget boaters do, mix super with race fuel, and be conservative with the timing or better yet run a msd btm box, let it worry about your timing

TORCO (http://torco.com/content/view/103/40/) octane booster seems to be pretty well respected among the blown Corvette crowd.
