    Amen!! Thanks for that Pops, this year will be extremely hard, as my son went into the Air Force in September, he turned 18 in boot camp, this will be our first year apart. I am hoping he's not feeling lonely and without family, this is his favorite day of the year. I miss him so much. I also want to give thanks to all those troops defending our country and to the families that support them all, hopefully they come home soon!! OK, I am going to go cry now!!

    Great thought Pops! I remember the holidays being miserably lonesome while in the service. Especially Christmas.
