Gears in a K-Boat

With 2000 hp you are only running 48's??? Geez with 650 hp we are pulling 45's in that old tub & now I need a bigger propeller!
When you step up with the Big boys you will need more gear son. And then, maybe you can get Grich a new football helmet The single bar kicker facemask my need updating.

I guess it's all a function of available power and wanting to run in the smoother water a lap or 2 down.
