Trans question

I have an 04 Chev Duramax with Banks package. 65k miles, never to hard on it. I recently got on it and it seemed to stay in 3rd longer not shifting at a normal rev shift. It seems like it continues to do this, however it shifts perfect under normal driving, only when I get on it, and only 3rd gear. Is my trans going, any info would help. I changed fluilds around 50 k, no flush though.

Check your fluid. Color smell level. If all seems normal bring to your dealer so they can scan it. Also the noise your hearing could be your fan clutch engauging.:idea: Mike

The ECMs on duramax/allison combos are learning. It takes a long time for it to learn properly. At 65k miles of never "getting on it", chances are its pretty confused by your recent inputs. Do an internet search for "duramax allison relearn" and you should get some enlightening results.
