Brunswick props up Fountain and loses it's ass.
    Brunswick owns Baja.
Brunswick sells to Fountain who owes them big time
Reggie gets a 4 million dollar loan to pull it off!
The economy is in the toilet
I wonder who guaranteed THAT loan?
    He is quite a player!
    Hmm....

What are you talking about? The boating industry is on fire, just ask Keith at Magic.

I don't know if you are talking straight or pullng my leg.
Fountain spent really big bucks tooling up for their recreational, poker run and race boat lines. 150mph+ V-Bottoms anyone?
I can't see Magic being in that league at all. But maybe the economy of scale is the more important business consideration. And Magic probably makes money.
God I hate that IP widget

With the double whammy of fuel prices, and the poor economy I think they will not last. Bankruptcy and a change of their business plan to deal with much lower volume will be needed if they are to survive.
Sure the rich can still buy and sell boats all they want, but the wanna-be players who were a big part of the market aren't buying anymore....
Reggie is rich, but the Fountain Corp and many other boat builders are gonna have issues.

Hey, I'll take the good natured ribbing here with a smile. But please don't
misquote me, I didn't say that the boat business was great. I said that
it is better than many may think. Not bragging because I don't need any
bad kharma to stop or slow the machine here but we're about 10% slower
than last year which was maybe 10% off from the biggest years. I'll take
that. Considering I hear numbers such as 40% and 50% off from many of
my customers from California in their personal businesses.
Sure hope that this turns around quickly.
