    What is the water like there ...is it fresh water or brackish ?

    My real question is .... do i need to was out the drive /motor? can different parts of the delta have a higher consentration of salt water to fresh water mix.Does it matter?

    I dont know 100%, but I dont think DB gets any salt, I think it stops around Antioch. The later in the no rain season the farther up the salt gets. Dry years like this it goes a bit farther up, but still not as far as DB. My .02
