Mid, Josh (@12yrs) and I built that litttle boat years ago with a 550 Kawi Jet ski motor and jet and a "One off hull" that i think was built by Miller in Santa Maria We sold it no less than 5 or 6 years back haven't seen it since What a trip ! Tom
edit , kind of funny i went to the pwc forum where you got this , guy said he talked to the "original builder" etc etc if you hang out on that forum and anybody wants info tell them to shout out !

Hey Tom, Ryan here, the new owner of the boat. I called some guy named Earl Bailey, he claims he put the thing together I think? Or maybe you did, and he was confused haha. Are you SURE you built this thing?

Ryan don't know who this Earl character is but he's clearly incorrect When my son was still in grade school (hes now my chief engineer and VP ) I "horse traded"(for a small block chevy) the little bare hull with a kid in Greenfield (it was that guys high school project?) many years ago .
After putting a floor and seats in it I first bought a huge evinrude for it (Scary) then we bought a 550 Kawi stand up Pirated the parts and "rigged it" into the boat which ,When sold 5 or so years back it looked very much like it looks today in your picture .The little boat was good clean entertainment and educational for son Josh. It was always a "work in progress" (when sold it still needed some work) and it would be fun to see someone make safe seaworthy and operational , i'll post up some more pics later Tom

I understand that Berklery made a lil 1/2 pint pump at one time. Think it was a 6JACW with a max horse power of 45. Can you tell me when were they made and what the heck were the used in?

I had one of those little jets ,used a chain drive and a coolant cooled Kohler snow mobile motor , the device/craft was a "Skidoo" and was an umannned thing with long (50' cables) the one used to pull themselves on water skis crazy!! EEEEK kind of a cromagnon PWC . Most of the mini Berks I've seen were in 10' boats with Briggs motor etc. Tom
