Are you looking for headers for a covered or non-covered engine?
What are the best through the hull headers for a 454 chevy? Where would I get a pair? If someone has some that they are not useing, and willing to let them go, I would be interested.

Covered. How much of a perfomance gain could I expect? Is it worth the cost?
Thanks again

Depending on what you have already, with Improved Intake and Carb (vs stock) you can look for 10 to 15% (conservatively) You will need to make some "tuneing changes" when you switch to headers Tom
BTW if the boat in your avatar is the boat you intend to modify ,it looks like your engine is covered , only water jacketed headers can be used in that application due to the heat and fire danger concerns Tom http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...miley-0691.gif
Indmar 454 chevy. I belive it to be a stock marine application. I have a set of oval port 049 heads that I am porting and polishing, and an edelbrock air gap intake that will be going on before spring. What would be a good cam for this application?
I am also putting on a droop snoot, and a berkeley SE loader scoop. Will this modification help any?
