hey dc you still have the old boat for sale?
Anybody know if there's any out there? How much is it. Found it at the 76 in Norco on Hamner, but it's $5 a gallon. Looking for it to be a little less spendy.
Thanks

No sir, long gone. frown
$5 is pricey for 100 octane - I pay $5 for C-12, which is 112 octane, and leaded. I am supposed to get the hook up on unocal racing fuel as my bro-in-law is cutting a deal with them for bulk storage and drumming off in Torrance- but wont see anything until next year.
there is a place off of the 15 just south of the 91 that has 116.you have to sign up and get a card no big deal just takes a few minutes.

Cool! I applied for my card today! They say they have 110 at the pump, and the rest is in drum or pails - most of which is in stock. The racing fuel is Sunoco. Just go east on Magnolia from the 15 and it is the first thing on the right.
Here are the current rates:
Product Octane pail 30 gal 50 gal
GT 100 4.93 4.37
GT Plus 104 5.20 4.66
Standard 110 4.88 4.62 4.32
Supreme 112 5.98 5.42 5.12
Stealth 114 14.13 13.25
Maximal 116 8.33 7.45
Maximal #5 116 8.03 7.15
Supreme NOS 117 8.03 7.15
Methanol 4.05 2.50
The Stadard Grade (110 octane) is $4.16 at the pump - and it has 3.75 grams/gallon of lead.
GT is unleaded and streat legal.
GT Plus is unleaded and highly oxygenated.
Supreme is leaded (don't know the lead content)
Stealth is for high rpm and small bores - good for motorcycles & carts
Maximal is leaded
Maximal #5 is leaded and 5% oxygen
Supreme NOS designed for NOS, but works well in general
Methanol is claimed 99.9%
FYI - Sunoco calculates octane like regular gas stations. If you want to compare to VP fuels, VP's are actually 4 units higher, so VP C-12, which is claimed 112 motor octane, would actually have 116 octane the way Sunoco calculates for octane.
