Vary fun place. But watch out for the wild boars. We were leaving one time pushing the boat through a shallow spot 2 wild boars came out of the reeds jumped in the boat and got out of there. There mean little suckers. But its top secrect.

It was cleaner and colder that you would think, considering the water depth. There are like 5 or 6 Beaver huts back their that are restricting the flow of water through there. "Jungle Cruise" is the perfect discription of it that's for sure! Got some great photo's of the boat, in places it really didn't belong because of its size, so it was worth the ride. But I won't be back there again in my ride, my U joints are probably L joints by now! Ducatista,
Ive had a least 5 or 6 beavers back there eek! eek! eek!
All good too!
HDD i just KNEW you wouldnt let that one pass!!! wink

I was there Cinco De Mayo 2002. It was a blast. They had a slip & slide set up, with a hose and pump to keep it wet. There where some Drunks that got injured, and a bunch of Girls that lost there tops.. I wish I had some pics to share.. That's where we spend Cinco de Drinko (1st Sunday after Cinco de Mayo) every year.
I remember reading in the havasu newspaper about the guy that was raped by 2 gangbangers out there last year. Definitely not my kind of disneyland. The sandbar is much safer!!!! -DD Out

Damn who spilled the beans photos and everything hopefully no GPS coordinates
The nice thing about Disneyland is .no lake lice and it is usually filled with true boaters. Not some dickhead in a rental, somebody trying to film a porno, or Billy bad-ass looking for a fight. Not enough action in there for them.
The last secluded haven, even on a holiday weekend. Kids love it and its safe, a real good time. 25 and under and youre fine. Most people freak out and cant handle the jungle cruise. You definitely wanna follow somebody in of its your first time in there. I gave my neighbor directions on how to get in there and he came back pissed eek! eek!
Hey, theyre only reeds.
"Hey, theyre only reeds."
LOL

Nembie Here Lurking for two years now. Hello! I have been boating at Havasu since the late 70s and never even heard of this place and it has sparked some intrest. Is it the south side of the sandbar?
RD your the Man! Who could hate you.
Just for your RD wink
Lurkin for 2 years? Damn.. He hates me already. I've heard of the place but I've never been to it. The next time I goto Havasu though I definately want to check it out. I hope someone posts the directions.
If the water is low, yes the larger boats will not make it.
The way the water has been lately, if you can go in 2-3 feet of water you will be fine.
It takes about 20 minutes at idle to get back from the entry at the river.
Ok as you are heading up to the sandbar from Havasu, as you see the hard right to the sandbar, just past the second set of marker buoy's there will be (2) buoy's on the right with a little sand on the left as you enter.
Keep going and turn right and then keep going and keep going. I have actually seen people walk there boats in once it gets shallow.
