FireWater Speed Runs - Wisconsin - August 17th

Anybody going to be in the southern Wisconsin area this weekend should make a point to make it to Lake Koshkonong in Ft. Atkinson (about 20 minutes south east of Madison. We usually have upwards of 200 boats in attendance. HUGE PARTY. Bands, bratwurst, beer, boats, and bikinis.

THIS IS OPEN TO ANY TYPE OF BOAT,ORDER THAT KILL SWITCH,AND A RUM AND COKE. eek!

Fortunately - or unfortunately depending on how you look at it - you have to wait for the Rum and Coke until AFTER the speed runs. If you want to party, go get out there early and get 'em over with.
It is open to all types of boats, but traditionally there have been more outboards than anything else, so we know what we'll have in the way of classes. The inboards will be grouped together on-site.

Hey. Saw you out on the chain a few weeks back. You pulled into the sand bar on Petite Lake. I'll look for you up there. It'll be a blast. I'll be in the White Mirage QuarterMaster drag boat.

That was us, we like to hang out there. I have been getting some good video out there, especially when the bands are playing. (girls, girls, girls!)
Is their picture somewhere in here of your boat so I know what to look for? If not, you know what we have, don't be shy.

Sorry, didn't get a chance to stop by. With the thing being postponed, I had to do a whole lot of nothing - ended up hanging out by the boats. My brother Jeff won the v4 class with his enclosed race boat. My buddy Bob was the injured one - he blew his boat over on Saturday up on the river - OOPS.

KK-Unfortunately we won't be out (on the Chain) on Sat. but we will be out on Sun. & Mon. all day. We will be in the water with beer in hand at the sandbar probably both days. Should be a good time out there this weekend.
