Hey 1step I know you've seen the Classic Glastron site, aren't those old boats groovy?And I love Art's styling cues.
He was NOT afraid to take chances, and the Glastron management pretty much approved most of his designs.
What do you think about his new Hallett designs, the 270 cat and the new 260ACL, which is essentially the same hull design as my boat?

I'm gonna have a twin axle aluminum trailer built for it. You don't need three axles under a 24' boat that weighs only 2300 lbs dry.

That was a worry as we were restoring it. We thought it might be too bright out in the sun. We spent many, many hours getting the varnish/tarnish off and the shine back on.
