I run a 98 EZ-GO lifted 36v at the Islander in LHC. Its runs all weekend long on a charge. It does 13.8 on GPS. Not a rocket but does the job. As for Gas we cannot us them after 10:00pm. See lots of gas carts in other parks They seem to haul ass.

Here is a pic of my 1998 48v yamaha. I can go all day on a charge and my batteries are original. Once I change them out (this year) I'll probably be able to go all weekend. The 48 volt is no faster than 36v.

Toby, buy the 36 volt cart, change the controller and motor to a 48 volt set-up, actally pretty cheap, paint the cart yourself done for around 3,000 or cheaper.

i dont know what i have one is a 1996 dcs cart lifted it runs good all day long the other i got is a 1998 non dcs because i was going to fix it up and make it fast but have not done it yet.the place where i get some of the parts says it will go 30 to 35mph with a hot motor.whats a good price i payed 800 and 900 for mine. Can you get or know of any others available in that price range? thats a good price from what ive seen. The best I have so far a 98 EZ reconed 36V for 1500.00 KAB's connection.

THe 48 volt set up will run faster with more power, but it really depends on your controller/motor combination, if all your looking for is speed they make big motors for a 36v set-up. I have a 48 volt 600 amp controller with a 10 hp motor. my cart will pull my mach 22 in and out of my spot no problem. If you really want speed buy a brand new 2003 ez-go with the two speed rear-end.
