    Since we are on the subject....
    I have a tree in the backyard, pretty big one too. I'll be here for a couple more weeks. If you guys want some, come on by. It is the thin skinned avacado, but still very good. I have had guacamole every day for a month,

    I planted 9 Haas and Fuerte Avocado trees on my hillside over the past couple of years. I got my first avos this season. It takes a few years before they produce. I love guacamole and pieces of avos with lunch or dinner.
    You only have one tree? I heard they need others nearby to germinate and produce fruit properly.

    You are all hatin it. I agree, at a buck a peice it isn't worth it to go far. Cheaper to go to the store.
    Course the beers aren't free at the store....
