Does anyone know if the HP525 comes standard with hydraulic external steering? The mercruiser site was a little confusing.

I might be off the mark here, but I thought the only thing Merc made currently with external steering was either the Number 6 or the new Merc stand off box (I can't recall the %$#@ name of it) Since you can get a 525 with just an XR, the external steering would be optional.
It's called I.T.S. (integrated transom system) and it's an option. Comes with 7" standoff really simplifies you tail end. Have'em on my Hustler with the shorty speedmaster lowers, looks like baby 6's.
I saw a Nordic 28ft heat with the I.T.S. on it, man did it look good, plus it really helped out that boat from as stock brovo setup.
Plus the whole I.T.S. makes for a clean istallation.

I could've sworn those were #6's.
What does the I.T.S. upgrade usually go for?
