Weiand 177 on small block!

Has anybody ran this setup on a 400 chevy in a jet boat, did you have any heating problems or reliablity issues any info woud be appreciated!!

I don't have a jet but I know 400 SBC's. As long as you have the right heads, or have drilled for coolant flow & the gaskets also let coolant flow (correct gaskets or have also been drilled) you shouldn't have any problems and I would probably run a 140 stat just to keep the flow moving.

I ran a few 144's and a 250 on small blocks.
Heating problems can be from any number of things. Restrictive exhaust on a blower engine will make it run hot. Assuming you have already checked all of the obvious things.

i was going to run afr aluminum heads, and kodiak exhaust manifolds.!!
