What are your thoughts on a alum rod street strip dealio?? and any thing special to running alum rods? I know you have to let every thing warm up before hounding on it.

You should talk, me asking car questions in a boat forum, you asking boat questions in a car forum.

I wouldn't. Aluminum rods don't like heat for sure and any street use is going to make more heat than the rods would like. I'd run steel rods for sure.

My worthless opinion is, aluminum rods are for fuelers only!.

Fellas, there is an aluminum rod that will run on the street, in fact the US government has cycle tested it in a 12 to 1 engine for 100K miles. Made about 10 miles from my house. Any of you boat racers want the number let me know. You will have to rebalance your assemble because on average they are 100 grm. lighter then the competition.

What is the stretch factor on them?, I don't like aluminum rods in a naturally aspirated motor because of stretch you can't have a tight quench area which messes up the combustion!..

No stretch to them. This rod is designed to run in steel rod applications..
