i got a 28ft nordic heat with a blown 509EFI with heads and a cam. standoff box,and a 24 pitch prop and a whipple charger at 4lbs boost. on gps i get low 80's
Hello I'm 21yrs. old I have just bought a 2001 CHECKMATE persuader 21'9" I just sold a 16' CHECKMATE inticer with a 140 hp. mercury outboard gotta love those CHECK's. But my 21'9" does not weigh that much at all I think its just over 2800 pds. and has a 454 mpi 310 hp. I have tried all kinds of props, Bravo, Mach-1, Turbo, and currently I'm running a trophy 26" 4 bladed, which is the best for me at this point. The boat runs between 70.1 and 70.9 on gps which I was realy happy with. My dad has a CHECKMATE ZT280 with a HP500 and I give him a run for the money, he just creeps by me. But my question is my 454 is bone stock and I want to go faster. I'm going to purchase CMI exhaust very shortly, but what else blower, pro charger????? also should I look into hydralic steering b/c I can feel alittle play in the drive, plus is'nt it safer? So i'm up for any suggestions. thanks for your time
