I bought the MSD 6AL for the main reason of having a rev limiter. (I blew up my engine last year airing out the jet after I jumped a monster wake before I realized what had happened)

MSD is the best....That could probably be the reason
I have a MSD billet distributer from my olds that I will sell for 1/2 the new price in summit. Let me know. I have a 6AL PTS pro truck series gell filled for vibration and has 6000 softouch limiter built in. Ran it on my olds 1/2 price also. MSD majorly improved the olds performance, more Rpms and easier starting. The first thing I throw away when I buy a boat is the ignition. The old school Malory dual points are often what gets tossed. They were the thing to have. Magnetic pick ups are the way to go. I won't run anything else.
