Phoenix Boat Shop

The wife and I have just moved to the Phoenix area (actually Gilbert, Az.)
The boat is being painted by Billy-B over in Calif.
I need a good boat shop to help me hook everything back up after I get it back here to AZ. (steering cables, hydraulic steering, batteries, reinstall the gauges).
We are looking forward to getting the boat back together and taking it up to Lake Pleasant and meeting the local ***boaters.

The current Checkmate dealer here is Bodnar -
Bodnar Boat Works (http://www.bodnarboatworks.com/repair.html)
But they are located on the west side, in Glendale. There must be shops on the east side of the valley that could help you too.

There's tons of them. If you are looking for performance boat shops, most of them are located on the west side, in Glendale. I'm not sure of their names, but someone will chime in here.

Bergeron Marine in Mesa would be my pick. probably booked out a couple of months. Also Darner Marine on Power is good.

I wouldn't take a row boat to Bodnar. Had our boat in for service last year what a nightmare. After being at Bodnar we had to take our brand new trailer back to Randalls for them to rewire, they crushed the spare tire holder, and the service work was less than satisfactory. On the east side Bergeron is the best. On the west side, West Valley Marine is who we use. They do great work, done right the first time.
