This can be a very reliable set-up. Not only that, but Vortec is an awesome company that has been very helpful on the phone when it comes to tech advice.

Dallas, try a 30 or 32 prop and I think you will get the speed you are looking for.
I have a buddy here in CA that loves the Vortec product.
Enjoy your new toy!
Dallas, If you are thinking about a ProCharger, I have a complete M-3 ProCharger set-up including innercooler with 3 blower pulleys to dial in the desired amount of boost. Blower has aprox. 15 hours total time and is currently on my 496 BBC. This motor is comming out for a 572 installation with a roots blower and superchiller. Reason for change is the new tunnel has plenty of room to stack it high. $7000.00 invested, will sell complete for $3500. Blower setup in excellent condition.
