Nice! What HP, MPH, and RPM?
It is a Chrysler 727 transmission. They are a little stronger than a T-400, and the bell housing is removable on some models, so it looks cleaner. Tom Gentry used them on his offshore boats behind his turbo motors. I'm sure that since Brummett rigged Gary's Schiada, and he owns all the Genrty stuff, thats why it has the 727 trans.
Yes, that boat is very nice!! I don't know the guy but have spoke with him when he was GN racing it at Parker.
He was nice enough to let me shoot a bunch of pics of the rigging and the like.
If my 20 turns out half as nice as that I'll be giddy.
A 727 behind a chev huh?? very nice boat.
Good choice in tranmissions. Too bad it isn't a Dodge powerplant.
Nice boat. Looks like it holds itself out of the water pretty good.
Curious, which model of a 727 had a removable bellhousing? I have never seen a TF with one.
