    i want to get an engine cover made for the boat. i live in barstow, where are any good palces to do it within 100 miles. thanks.

    Make your own, its not that hard. I did it and I cant build shit.

    If you build a cover - make sure it's not fully inclosed as you do not have Marine "stuff" on the engine and it COULD be a fire hazzard .... Leave it open - it's purrrrty here is the one we built for my dads boat - it just goes around the motta - do'nt cover it - just cleans up the clutter

    I built this one out of aluminum and tubing so we could walk on it - I also left alot of venting - ( i have a 1/2 gap around it on purpose ) and also the blower hole - for ventilations - i also run two air pumps ( blowers ) to keep fumes from acumulating

    Since an Engine cover on that style of Boat would do nothing for its appearance, are you doing it so you can get Liability Ins. ? maybe better to just spend the extra $$$ for "Hot Rod" Ins.
