How much power are you running or plan to run in the motor????
I have a 2bolt gen 4 454 and want to make it into a 4-bolt by using Milodon angled 4 bolt main caps
I just got off the phone with the guy from Milodon and he said that is one of the main reasons they made those caps
Just want to know if anyone else has allready tried this.

Yes they are good caps...but..you have to locate the caps and drill the block. Then the block must be line bored. The caps are made purposely smaller by a whole bunch and a line hone won't do it.
block is already 60 over and I plan to run a blower on it someday
800-900hp
Check out all the price of ALL the machine work needed to do the 4 bolt deal, then look around for the killer 4 bolt factory block that won't need all that machine work. The ONLY time those caps work out $wise is if you do ALL your own machine work, otherwise you're gonna have a whole bunch of money in that deal..just to get where the factory block was already...Also, even with the angled bolts, not all 2 bolt blocks will have the necessary beef in the right places.........MP
Far cheeper and better in the long run to move over to a virgin 4 bolt.
